When the podcast began in 2018 I had a brief list of my ideal guests; Jamison was near the very top of that list.
Nearly 8 years later finally sitting down to talk was well worth the wait. Like many of us I believed tattooers were pretentious dickheads that overcharged you for your own ideas. Apparently only some of them hold true to stereotype. This man is not or at least not anymore. Inside this episode I extract some of the earliest questions and concerns I had for Etiquette and what inspired the theme of the show. Jamison details the original FORTIFIED Shop location nightmare, his tattoo roots in Union City, the Honda CRX obsession, pulling into Lompoc in his 1973 (not '74) Chevy Nova, what tattooers get wrong, what customers get wrong (!), having an awful short-term memory, and industry anecdotes. I had a blast talking to him and you'll have one listening! Download, share, & get your next tattoo at Fortified Tattoo Co
