Dr. Kirk Turner, a successful dentist, did not dispute that he killed his wife, Jennifer, in 2007. But he claimed he did it in self-defense, after Jennifer first attacked him with a seven-foot spear. In July 2017, she visited an OB-GYN, told the doctors her baby was stillborn, and that she buried the body in the backyard of the family home. In April 1990, married couple Nancy Bishop and Richard Langert, who were expecting their first child, were found murdered in their Chicago home. Their killer was identified months later as David Biro, a local high school student, who bragged to a friend that he had done it.
