Majorjon Kaylor was accused of carrying out a brutal quadruple homicide on June 18, 2023, in Kellogg, Idaho, where he shot and killed four members of a family living in the lower unit of his duplex: 65-year-old Kenneth Guardipee, his daughter Kenna Guardipee (41), and her two sons Devin (18) and Aiken (16). According to the criminal complaint, Kaylor confronted the family after growing enraged over an alleged indecent exposure incident involving Devin Smith, who he claimed had exposed himself through a window in view of Kaylor’s wife and young daughters. Investigators said Kaylor first gunned down Kenneth and Kenna at the doorway, then entered their apartment and shot both teenagers at close range, with evidence suggesting the killings were premeditated.

During questioning, Kaylor reportedly confessed, saying he “snapped” and “did something about it,” later stating plainly: “I shot four people—they’re all dead.” Prosecutors described the attack as an act of vigilante justice carried out with deliberate cruelty, while his defense argued that his actions stemmed from emotional breakdown and fear for his family’s safety. In December 2023, Kaylor pleaded guilty to four counts of second-degree murder and was sentenced in March 2024 to life in prison without parole. The case drew national attention as one of Idaho’s most shocking domestic-violence-linked killings, reigniting debate about self-policing, vigilantism, and mental instability.
