About Luis

Luis Graduated in Agricultural Engineering, from the University of Trás-os-Montes and Alto Douro. He was in charge of Serralves Fondation's Park between 1997 and 2002. In 2002 he founded Cantinho das Aromáticas, the only project of its kind in Western Europe of urban organic farming. For the last 21 years he has been a farmer and nurseryman, producing aromatic, medicinal and spice plants in organic production. It produced, from seed to final product, high quality infusions, herbal teas and condiments, for the national market and for export. Co-author of the book Erva uma Vez (http://cantinhodasaromaticas.blogspot.com/2013/12/erva-uma-vez-ganha-premio-gourmand.html). 

Co-author of numerous scientific research works, with emphasis on the Infusao Premium project (http://www.cantinhodasaromaticas.pt/infusao-premium/). For 8 years he maintained a regular section on plants on the Praça Program on RTP1. He was a regular commentator on Jornal 2 on RTP2
