About Dr Bajekal 

Dr Nitu Bajekal, FRCOG is a Consultant Obstetrician & Gynaecologist for the NHS and at Spire Bushey Hospital 

Dr Bajekal is committed to improving women's health through public education. She is a passionate and enthusiastic teacher and is very involved in the training of future doctors and in empowering women through education. Patient satisfaction is extremely important to her, always keeping the best interests of her patients at heart. 

Over the last 30 years of clinical practice, Dr Bajekal has developed special expertise in many areas, including endometriosis, PCOS, teenage health, and the menopause. She is skilled in Minimal Access Surgery(keyhole surgery), Vulval disease & cervical cancer screening. 

Over the years, Dr Bajekal has developed a nutrition-focused and holistic approach to treatment, encouraging patients to make lifestyle changes to improve their health. She was inspired in 2014 to set up a women for women's health service (WfWH) along with her colleague after a growing realisation that by empowering a woman through information and open discussion, not only her health improved but also that of her entire family. They recognised the key role that nutrition and lifestyle play in major gynaecological conditions such as some cancers, polycystic ovarian syndrome, menopause.

Dr Bajekal believes this knowledge should be available to people of all ages and from all walks of life. Young people especially are at the right stage where making small changes can have a tremendous impact on their future health.
