The CJNG cartel (Cartel de Jalisco Nueva Generacion) is running a sophisticated timeshare scam targeting American timeshare owners, especially the elderly. This scam involves scammers, often posing as legitimate buyers, making unsolicited offers to purchase timeshares. Once the offer is accepted, they ask the owners for advance fees and taxes, purportedly to facilitate the sale. After several payments, the timeshare owners realize there is no buyer, and their money is gone.
The CJNG uses this fraud as a significant revenue stream to fund their broader criminal activities, including drug trafficking. They operate mainly in tourist destinations like Puerto Vallarta and use extreme violence and intimidation to control these fraudulent networks. The U.S. Department of the Treasury and the FBI are actively working to disrupt these schemes in collaboration with Mexican authorities.
This scam has caused over $300 million in losses, primarily affecting older Americans. Victims are advised to report any suspicious activities to the FBI’s Internet Crime Complaint Center (IC3) as quickly as possible for the best chance of recovering lost funds.
Now, given the amount of money and number of people who have been victimized by the scam as well as the ongoing genocide in America known as the drug overdoses, the DOJ has turned it's full attention to the CJNG and those they say are behind the plot.
In our second episode..
We've talked about the mexican cartels and their move south into Colombia multiple times now on the podcast, but due to a recent leak in Colombia, we are getting confirmation of those assertions.
According to the leak, CJNG and Sinaloa have both established beachheads in Colombia and both groups continue to work towards complete domination of the narco game. From the harvesting to the sale, both CJNG and Sinaloa are looking to control the game from the bottom up.
In this episode, we take a look at the newest leaks and how the cartels and their corrupt pals in government planned on making it happen.
