Starkville | Jon Miller is celebrating 50 years of broadcaster baseball games this summer. He stopped by Starkville to share some of his favorite stories from a half century behind the microphone. Strange But True: Tigers third baseman Zach McKinstry had a 3-run error and then gave up a 3-run home run in the same inning last week. When was the last time that happened? Trivia from Mark Snyderman: This week is the 50th anniversary of Henry Aaron’s 715th home run. He is also baseball’s all-time leader in total bases, with 6,856. Only three other players finished their careers with more than 6,000 total bases. Name them.
