Ming Poon is a very accomplished photographer and environmental advocate based in the outdoor Mecca of Lake Tahoe. His path up to this point took a very unexpected detour when he was thrust into the world of big business and a move to China after the death of his father.   We talk about Ming's constant evolution from aspiring guide to expat executive to photographer, environmentalist and then father and how he takes each new challenge and incorporates it into his very rich life. Josh Daiek returns to the LPP!  This time we spoke in his kitchen in South Lake Tahoe on one of his rare off days.   Josh is a true workhorse with an energy dedicated to the projects he creates that is hard to rival.  One such project is the third installment to his "Mountain State" film project which highlights the lesser traveled mountain ranges in Nevada that host the epic lines he has become known for. The two of us also talk about skiing with dogs, training and safety in the mountains, the benefits of having no expectations and the difficulty balancing between work and play when you do what you love for a job. Je Paq literally launched onto the scene when the clip of his triple front flip off the backside of Whistler Mountain went super viral. One trick doesn't make the skier though as he has been consistently showing us that his skiing ability isn't relegated to a single impressive moment. The fourth event of the season saw the FWT make its return to Fieberbrunn, Austria and the legendary Wildseeloder face.  This was the first event after the cut with the field of athletes being reduced to half. This is also the only event of the season where the riders get two runs. Stinius Skjøtskift ( pronounced Shot-Shift) is a Norwegian skier who's path to becoming a pro athlete has been determined by several fateful moments and his willingness to just "go with it". Trying to join the military and being denied, then accepted led to him winning a couple freeride comps all while Dj-ing nightclubs on the weekends, as a teenager. Maxime Chabloz is a RedBull athlete for two different sports and he competes on two different World Tours, simultaneously!  One being The Freeride World Tour, which he won in 2022, and the other he kite boards on the GKA Kite World Tour.
