Well, this might be the second half of the Pinboard Game double bubble - but in true Chatabix fashion, it’s not long before David and Joe get totally distracted by other subjects. Firstly, there’s David’s idea to do ‘Directors Cut’ style analysis episodes of our old guest interviews, complete with much cringing (about themselves of course, not the brilliant guests). And then the subject of an Our Little Systems live tour comes up - with the special caveat of having women-only audiences. It’s working title is the Tea Towels and Thongs Tour. As Joe’s still feeling a little poorly and they both don’t have much to talk about today - David turns to his trusty pinboard ‘ideas cards’ to get the conversation flowing. So they randomly select topics from that, with subjects covered include beaches, maps, more gardening, more old jobs, being likeable and immediate rapport. David’s had a close shave this morning, nearly being run into by a truck. So he tells Joe about that and then Joe recounts a similar near-miss when he was a student in Bristol. In other news, David's been watching lots of Blackadder with his kids (with accompanying Flashheart impressions), Joe remembers going to see Bottom live at the Hammersmith Apollo, there’s a progress report on their colds and they finish things off with a little meltdown about listening back to pod episodes. And after reading out the first few messages, David’s feeling increasingly positive about it. But Joe’s really not too sure, so they start a timer and give it 30 minutes to prove itself.
