2020 has been a very strange year so far, don't you think so? One might even beg to rewind this year and go back to the previous one. So let's remember, what an amazing year 2019 was. And it truly was, as 2019 was full of mind-boggling discoveries and scientific breakthroughs. Some of the discoveries were so unexpected that it's hard to believe they actually happened. For example, scientists found out that if people started having 6 fingers, the brains would easily adapt to it. Also, in 2019 a group of scientists grew human taste cells in a lab, they actually discovered those had an ability to smell, just like our noses. Meanwhile, outside of our planet some unusual things happened as well. The supermassive black hole at the center of our Milky Way Galaxy lit up twice as brightly as usual. What a bright year indeed! How many hours a day do we spend staring at the screens of our laptops and smartphones? Yes, countless hours! That's why we eventually notice our vision change and get much worse. We replace glasses and contact lenses to get sharper vision, but this process seems to have no end. However, we can do something to improve our eyesight even now! First of all, we should start with changing our lifestyle. Pay attention to what we eat, when we exercise, how many hours a day we sleep, if we sometimes fall asleep in contact lenses - we should stop it immediately! Also, eye exercises are really helpful. Your eyes have muscles and they can get sore when held in one position for too long, just like any other muscle in our body. Give your muscles a break and you'll be grateful over the years. Very few of us decide to dive into the depth of the ocean and explore, what's going on there. What we can tell for sure is that it's a place full pretty scary inhabitants we know very few about. The ocean is deep: the average depth of the entire ocean is about 3.5 km. and its deepest point is the Mariana Trench, which hides a lot of murky secrets.  One of the questions is: is the Meg the most terrifying creature ever living in the ocean or it has competition? The size isn't always the decisive factor when it comes to danger, even though the Meg was pretty impressive in size. It could reach up to 82 ft. in length. However, some tiny inhabitants of the ocean can be terrifying as well. Take the blue-ringed octopus, for instance. It might be small, but this thing is no joke. It has a dangerous venom and an antidote to its sting still hasn't been found.
