On this week's episode of MARS, Matthew & Rizzle talk about the Grifter Squaddies drop on vipe.io brought to the metaverse by the legendary Toxsam. Fun fact: Matthew, Rizzle, and NonFunGerbil Luke all got a similar (but actually rather rare) Grifter Squaddie. After red-pilling Rizzle into scooping his squaddie, the conversation shifted to talking about a Brookhawk-inspired topic: Interface. The app that launched in 2023 is still around and pushing out updates, but many other projects have largely incorporated it's main functionality of following other wallets and tracking onchain transaction history as a feature. That led into a reflection on Cent, being too early when building something net-new in a burgeoning sector, the hair width's difference between succeeding and failing, and how we are ALL hoping the purple app doesn't eff it up.
