In this episode, Racheal talks to Dr Abiola Sarnecki about being a woman of colour in leadership, the importance of representation, and also what organisations can do to attract diverse talent, as well as creating a culture that retains them.  Abiola is a lecturer of Organizational Behavior at EBS Business School in Germany, where she completed her PhD in Organizational Behavior in 2017. Abiola has a Master's degrees in Electrical Engineering as well as an MBA.  She has worked for over ten years as a management consultant in Nigeria and Germany. Tanja has held several senior roles including the  Director of Private banking at Lanschot Bankers, member of the supervisory board of the Dutch National Maritime Museum. Tanja was the CEO of Theodoor Gilissen She is a member of the supervisory board of KAS Bank N.V., PNO Consultants N.V., the Oncode Institute Foundation and the Veerstichting Foundation. She is also a member of the Advisory Board of the Frans Hals Museum/De Hallen Haarlem museum, and a member of the board of Universiteitsfonds Utrecht. Tanja studied law at Utrecht University. She is also an entrepreneur who launched her own publishing company in 2006, through which she has written and produced more than 2000 Afrikaans children's stories in book and audio book format.
