Kerry Hasenbalg met Jesus at a young age through her mother’s faith. However, the transfer of that faith did not become her own until she studied abroad in Russia. It was in Russia that a deep passion for Jesus and His word was sparked. Kerry spent the next years deepening her knowledge of the Lord and drawing close to Him. It was after this time that God began to open exciting and unprecedented doors of opportunity to her. She married a precious Christian man from church and together they set about becoming a family together. Everything seemed almost storybook until they set about adopting a troubled little boy. Listen to the tragic turn of events in Hannah’s life as well as God’s sustenance, deliverance, and the doors of ministry God opened to her through all the injustices and trauma she experienced.

Put off at first by the idea of leaving America as a missionary, she was nevertheless compelled to yield her whole life to whatever plans God had for her. Yielding to God became the slogan of her life. She went to the Central Republic of Africa in 1924 and spent the next forty years ministering, loving, and sharing the Gospel with the Banda people.
