I won't say I suck at the ukelele (even tho I want to) 🎶

It’s normal to go through hard times as humans, but how we handle our hard times is the difference between playing out old patterns and growing into something new and better.

I'm learning the ukelele, and I'm not where I want to be yet. In fact, during this podcast you can hear where I'm at. Now, in the past I would've prefaced my playing with an admonishment of my skills, but not only am I learning how to play the ukelele, I'm also learning how to be kind to myself in the process.

What we do first thing in the morning sets us up for the rest of the day, not to mention the rest of our lives. I'm not feeling so great right now, so I decided to give myself the comforting words I need to hear myself - and I share these words with any of my friends who are also not feeling so great right now.

I've been learning so much about myself recently, especially in regards to my patterns around sadness and despair. And, believing I have a choice in how I manifest my reality, I think I would prefer to do things differently moving forward.
