Park Bench Murders ////// 856Part 1 of 1  www.TrueCrimeGarage.comOn June 4, 2019, a little after 5 P.M., longtime friends Carnell “Nell” Sledge and Katherine “Kate” Brown arrived at the Rocky River Reservation which is a section of the Cleveland MetroParks.  Both met at a pull-off gravel parking lot near the Lorain Road Bridge.  Carnell and Katherine were shot and killed near a park bench shortly after arriving.  Carnell was only 40 years old and Katherine was just 33 years old.  These homicides are still unsolved.  We covered this case before (see below) and will continue to follow up as necessary until an arrest(s) is made.  Anyone with information regarding these murders is asked to call the FBI’s Cleveland field office at 216-622-6842. Something happened between the bus stop and home and she vanished. There were similar cases and victims nearby at the time which complicated the investigation. Sadly, Angie was just one of many victims that are discussed throughout this story. Edna Thorne ////// 852 Part 1of 1  www.TrueCrimeGarage.comPhiladelphia, Pennsylvania June 24, 1975 - 15 year old Edna Christine Thorne went missing after visiting the horse stables near her home. That day she asked her sister is she wanted to go visit the horse with her, but she declined. Edna was last seen leaving the Tioga Street horse stables. Like so many cases in the 70s, the police initially treated Edna’s case as a runaway case but eventually concluded this to be unlikely. Authorities now suspect that Edna Thorne was abducted and likely killed. Travis Decker - Manhunt  /// Part 2 /// 851 Part 2 of 2 www.TrueCrimeGarage.comWashington state - 32 year old Travis Decker is believed to be on the run and may have made his way into Canada. The 32 year old former military father is accused of kidnapping and murdering his three young daughters. Decker had limited visitation rights to see his three daughters every other weekend. On Friday, May 30th he never returned them to their mother and home. Travis Decker is described as 5 foot 8 inches tall with black hair and brown eyes. He has several tattoos and at the time he had a ponytail and facial hair. He may be armed and is considered to be extremely dangerous.
