"Travel not to escape" is a mindset that emphasizes the idea of traveling for personal growth and self-discovery, rather than as a means of running away from problems or difficulties. It encourages us as solo female travelers to embrace the challenges and uncertainty of travel and to use the experience as an opportunity to learn and grow. By approaching travel with this mindset, we can gain a deeper understanding of ourselves and the world around us.
To further discuss this topic, I have invited Geleen Antonio, who recently quit her corporate tech career to launch her solo travel empowerment business. Her mission is to help women not just to view solo travel as a form of escape, but to feel confident and empowered while doing it and to use the experience as a stepping stone to the next chapter of their lives.
