Based on the premier class of motorsport, F1 The Movie follows the international worldwide racing sport. The film is a sports drama starring Brad Pitt as a driver who returns to Formula One racing after a career cut short by injury. It was directed by Joseph Kosinski with a screenplay written by Ehren Kruger. It is based on the Formula One World Championship, created in collaboration with the FIA, its governing body. The film also stars Damson Idris, Kerry Condon, Tobias Menzies, and Javier Bardem.
