There is a lot more to program design than linear straight sets. There is much debate on whether specialty set methods and pairings can be used to grow more muscle. A lot of this has to do with what constraints you have on training time and effort. In the right context, supersets, drop sets, paired sets, rest pause and more can be ways to get gains in less time, or more gains when time is limited.
