Stepping Off The Stage: ATYD Chapters 115-117

This week, we return to All the Young Dudes to finish the teenage romance-a-thon that is pre-7th Year Camping. We're waxing poetic about our younger years, the important beach conversations we've had in our own lives, Luther Vandrosss, and Roy Kent's night blindness. Don't drink the cider, don't kiss and tell, and don't get sand in places sand should never go. Support the showSupport FFH on Patreon: patreon.com/thefoxandthefoxhoundFollow us!IG: @thefoxandthefoxhoundTikTok: @thefoxandthefoxhound

Ah yes, the taste of salt has appeared in the Season 13 stew- it's time to highlight a chapter that was criminally robbed in the film adaptation and this time around it's the devastating and magnificent penultimate chapter of Order of the Phoenix: "The Lost Prophecy". We're trying to wrap our brains around how these pages wound up a limp 45-second blip at the end of the fifth movie, and asking if this is the worst and saltiest offense of them all? Join us in our rage! Support the showSupport FFH on Patreon: patreon.com/thefoxandthefoxhoundFollow us!IG: @thefoxandthefoxhoundTikTok: @thefoxandthefoxhound

This week, we're talking about the Wizarding World's Justice System (and we use the term "System" loosely). Does the Ministry literally ever get it right? How the HELL do people get appointment to the Wizengamot? And did the Hamburgler ever have a hamburger for a head? Join us for the answers to these very important questions, and more- DUN DUN. Support the showSupport FFH on Patreon: patreon.com/thefoxandthefoxhoundFollow us!IG: @thefoxandthefoxhoundTikTok: @thefoxandthefoxhound

Welcome to Season 13 Foxies! We're kicking it off the only way we know how- with dudes. That's right, we're back to All the Young Dudes and covering chapters 112-114. It's time for apparition lessons, Remus finally opening the FREAKING BOX, and an absolute banger of an admission. Plus, Badman vs Batman?, Michael J. Fox continues to occupy Kev's thoughts, and things going from Remus's lips to Cookie Monster Greyback's ears (god help us). Lucky 13 here we come! Support the showSupport FFH on Patreon: patreon.com/thefoxandthefoxhoundFollow us!IG: @thefoxandthefoxhoundTikTok: @thefoxandthefoxhound

We're finishing up Season 12 with some wacky imaginings- HP characters as pro wrestlers, toy lines, themed holiday decorating, and everything in between! Plus, Amanda is beefing with the entire state of Ohio, a shared Patronus moment involving the weirdest thing a child has ever said to her parents, and horse pants (because it's not FFH without horse pants). We'll be back for lucky Season 13 on September 8th! Support the showSupport FFH on Patreon: patreon.com/thefoxandthefoxhoundFollow us!IG: @thefoxandthefoxhoundTikTok: @thefoxandthefoxhound

Those cheeky young dudes are back to their antics and we're back to discuss them! This week, we're covering chapters 109-111 of All the Young Dudes and it has us dissecting Dumbledore The Birthday Ruiner, getting teary (and a bit worried) over a very sweet gift, and unfortunately giving a ridiculous new voice and persona to a well-established character. See ya in there! Support the showSupport FFH on Patreon: patreon.com/thefoxandthefoxhoundFollow us!IG: @thefoxandthefoxhoundTikTok: @thefoxandthefoxhound

Taste that salt in the air? That's right, it's time for another of Amanda's Salty Chaps- this time, we're lamenting the greatness of 'The Other Minister' and its quite frankly criminal omission from the screen (thus far anyway). We're talking UK vs US politics, Avatar Aang, and Kev's usual shoehorning of a theme from The Neverending Story. This week, we're gleefully reuniting with our beloved Young Dudes as we cover chapters 106-108 of the fanfic to end all fanfics. We're talking Sirius and Remus being back on their bullsh*t, the absolute legend that is Mary, and Norm MacDonald. We'll see ya in there. Support the showSupport FFH on Patreon: patreon.com/thefoxandthefoxhoundFollow us!IG: @thefoxandthefoxhoundTikTok: @thefoxandthefoxhound

Guess who's baaaaack??? It's us (hiiiii). We've returned from our hiatus and what better way to celebrate than to turn our focus to that ol' party animal Percival (middle name redacted) Weasley? Did that textbook middle child really get a fair representation in the series? What is the narrative purpose of the series of events surrounding Percy's return in Book 7? And which Wilson is headed to an ashram? Support the showSupport FFH on Patreon: patreon.com/thefoxandthefoxhoundFollow us!IG: @thefoxandthefoxhoundTikTok: @thefoxandthefoxhound

Kev and the FFH Manager of Mischief Josh gather to talk the creative and cultural impact of Harry Potter on young adult fiction, fandoms, and millennials in general, and discuss the first episode of adult Harry Potter-like series The Magicians.Support the showSupport FFH on Patreon: patreon.com/thefoxandthefoxhoundFollow us!IG: @thefoxandthefoxhoundTikTok: @thefoxandthefoxhound
