Today, Hailey is joined by Amelia from the Veteran Doe. The Veteran Doe is an amazing organization that only covers unidentified and missing service members. The case they cover together is the Paratrooper John Doe.

On May 26 1984, a young man was found in a canal in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, specifically the Intercostal Waterway at the 500 block of Bayshore Drive. This young man was white and between 21 and 30 years old. He had only been deceased for one day. He had light brown hair and was 5’9. Head brown eyes and had two distinctive tattoos.

One of his tattoos, located on his right arm says U.S. Paratroopers, joined by an image with a skull with a red beret, which signifies this is a U.S. Army tattoo specifically. He also had a tattoo on his left forearm that said Born to Fly Free with a pegasus above it.

Tune into this episode to hear more about the Paratrooper John Doe and about the Veteran Doe.

If any of you have information, even if it’s just about his tattoos, please contact the Fort Lauderdale Police Department at 954-764-4357. Agency case number 84-73082.
