Week 1: Preface

In today's episode, we will be wrapping up our week-long review of Chiropractic Pediatrics by talking about a Gonstead approach to pediatrics.  Dr Franzluebbers has done a lot of teaching on this subject and I think it will be the perfect wrap up for the week. 

In this episode, we are going to kick off our review of pediatrics by listening to our conversation with Dr Claudia Anrig.  When I first learned pediatrics from her nearly 30 years ago, she was already a very accomplished Gonstead Chiropractor and Pediatric Specialist.  Today, you will be listening to the best-of-the-best, and this is a conversation you will want to listen to over and over again. 

In today's episode, we will be looking exclusively at the AS Ilium misalignment.  This will primarily be a discussion of how we can identify this misalignment on an X-ray and how we can confirm our line drawings by looking at other visual changes that will confirm our previous findings. 

This is a throw-back to a conversation with Dr Kristin Fellows.  She is a very thoughtful and precise practitioner and she has an amazing ability to make those around her better.  I enjoy every conversation I have had with her and I hope this one will bring you some deep meaning and understanding. 

In today's episode, we will look at the research and the evidence regarding a number of treatment modalities for low back pain. It is important to understand both the potential for benefit as well as the potential for no benefit. 

In today's episode, we look at the introduction and we set the stage for everything else we will study in this book.  In this short section, we uncover some of the most important gems in the Gonstead work and we create a foundation for doing the work correctly. 

In today's episode, we will be discussing the physical examination of the spine.  This will enable us to, not only identify the structure and location involved, but it will also aid us in diagnosing the severity. 

In this episode, we will listen to Dr Eric Russell.  Dr Russell is both a Gonstead Chiropractor and a Chiropractic Philosopher, but he has an extensive background in Education.  In this episode, he helps us to better understand the practical aspects of Chiropractic Philosophy and how it can actually affect what we do.

This is a throw back to our most recent conversation with Dr Dan Lyons.  Dr Lyons is well known throughout the Gonstead community as both a Gonstead Chiropractor and a Chiropractic Philosopher.  We are blessed to be able to count him as a member of our tribe, and I think you will see why he is considered a good friend by so many.  

In this episode, we will discuss the preface to the Chapters and understand the context this book is written in and why its creation mattered to the profession and still matters to us.
