It’s a time of great alchemy and purification for everyone right now. The events of the world are shaking us up in many ways. This is my small addition to the various interpretations of grief that may help you understand the emotions that are affecting you today. I am going through a new phase in my life too. One that is undoubtedly laced by grief. But there is grief in every new beginning because something has to end. When we start school we leave our childhood forever, something our parents grieve as they watch us become young men and women. Similarly when we wake up in the morning, we silently grieve the days that have gone if we attach ourselves too much to the memories of our past. I hope this is sharing is helpful to you. After months of exhaustion and doing whatever I thought was "rational' to heal it such as lots of rest, exercise, breathing, sleep, better diet etc, I still felt so exhausted. I had a feeling as to why as I was so exhausted, but I could not accept it at some level. I met Laavenia Ramasegar at Heart Sanctuary, a wellness centre in Kuala Lumpur a while ago. I did not forget our conversation as we both discussed our "Nadi" leaf reading. "Nadi" leaves are details of a past and present life written by Saint Agasthiya on leaves that have been well preserved and looked after by a legacy of priests in South India. Of course I was never going to forget her as you do not have such conversations with just anyone. Much later I learnt that Laavenia was an Egyptian lineage energy healer, a tarot reader and teacher and she practices plant medicine for her own growth and healing.
