It's hard to believe that a quarter of a century has passed since that morning that changed our country—and, in many ways, changed the world. Today, I don't want to talk about just news. I don't want to debate the events of that day. And I certainly don't want to sensationalize one of the darkest days in our nation's history. Instead, I want to remember. So let's remember, pay tribute to the heroes of that day, and most importantly, I also want to leave you with something positive. Because even in the middle of tragedy, there were incredible examples of courage, compassion, sacrifice, and humanity.
