Toxic families: Stay for peace or leave for peace?

This week on Confessions, Taylor finds himself facing a difficult decision after finally landing a job. His parents have told him they want 30% of his salary or he'll be kicked out of the house. On top of that, they won't help with transport costs and, according to Taylor, they treat him badly. So what should he do? Stay at home and pay up, or use his salary to rent a place with friends and start fresh? Stacey and J Sbu opened the lines and asked listeners to weigh in on this complicated family and financial dilemma.

Durban recently hosted the 46th SADC Summit, welcoming heads of state and international attention to the city. While events of this scale can boost Durban's profile, attract investment and showcase the city on a global stage, they can also bring road closures, traffic congestion and disruptions for residents and businesses. After a TikTok trend exposed some hilarious local versions of international hits, Stacey and J Sbu put a few classics to the test. From Akon apparently wanting to "kick it like Thabo" to Taylor Swift singing about a "Woolworths pie", these misheard lyrics will have you questioning everything you thought you knew.
