Whoa, actual news! This weekend, the Cardinals extended the contract of manager Oliver Marmol through the 2028 season. The trade we've all been waiting for finally happened: The Cardinals traded Brendan Donovan. He'll be in Seattle, and the Cardinals got a pitcher who throws with both arms as well as a bunch of draft stuff. Bernie Miklasz was unable to be with us today, so Will Leitch solos, talking about what the trade means in the short and long term.
