Episode 240 - "How I Met Your Fangire" - 10.24.26

It's our longest podcast ever! Join us in celebrating Halloween with this extended deep dive into the first two episodes of Amber's favorite series, Kamen Rider Kiva! We needed something to get us into the spooky, gothic vibes of the season, and there was no better choice than this batshit crazy series (emphasis on the BAT). We also drool over the Halloween menu offerings at the various toku diners and restaurants, and try and fail to avoid talking about whether that Shu Watanabe discourse from this week was truly as serious as it seemed…   0:55 - Opening 43:58 - News 1:15:22 - Kiva 1 2:57:00 - Kiva 2   Website: www.RiderLovePodcast.com Twitter: www.twitter.com/RiderLOVEcast Email: [email protected]

Kamen Rider My-Th episodes 5 & 6 continue to roll out the Zodiac Riders, as we contemplate a love triangle between a dog, a snake, and a sheep. And in a crazy turn of events, some My-Th side material has given us a Kiva revelation 18 years in the making!   0:49 - Opening 6:53 - News 28:36 - My-Th 5 1:01:09 - My-Th 6   Website: www.RiderLovePodcast.com Twitter: www.twitter.com/RiderLOVEcast Email: [email protected]

Our coverage of Kamen Rider My-Th continues with episodes 3 & 4! We've got a new stray black cat hanging around, a wolf boy doing backflips in front of the moon, and we spend an absurd amount of time dissecting one flashback. We also discuss the surprise announcement of a collab between Batman & Zero-One, the apparent death of the V-CINEXT, and the beginning of the Ex-Aid's 10th Anniversary celebration.   0:56 - Opening 15:22 - News 37:40 - My-Th 3 1:28:23 - My-Th 4   Website: www.RiderLovePodcast.com Twitter: www.twitter.com/RiderLOVEcast Email: [email protected]

It's the Year of the Mouse!! Well, technically it's Year of the Horse, but for the next 52 weeks, we're gonna be all about the mouse. Kamen Rider My-Th has finally premiered, and episodes 1 & 2 give us plenty to chew on. Much in the same way a mouse chews on a piece of cheese.   2:12 - News 15:25 - My-Th 1 1:20:53 - My-Th 2   Website: www.RiderLovePodcast.com Twitter: www.twitter.com/RiderLOVEcast Email: [email protected]

Our Summer of Outsiders comes to a close, and it's basically a big slap fest between all your favorite naughty boys. Did it make a whole bunch of logical sense? Will we see any of these storylines continue into other specials? Only time will tell. And here we are gathered on the eve of Kamen Rider My-Th's debut. We do one final check-in to gauge our excitement for the series, and learn a few production insights along the way!   0:58 - Intro 9:45 - News 42:39 - Outsiders 6 1:30:24 - Outsiders 7   Website: www.RiderLovePodcast.com Twitter: www.twitter.com/RiderLOVEcast Email: [email protected]

We finally know how we're gonna be watching Kamen Rider My-Th. Is the streaming situation good or bad? That's up for debate, but at least we're getting it, and we WILL be watching. In our penultimate Outsiders discussion, Zein's nefarious plot is revealed, and Kuroto Dan gets his ultimate wish… a head of gorgeous flowing hair.   0:56 - Intro 13:08 - News 1:00:04 - Outsiders 4 1:40:27 - Outsiders 5   Website: www.RiderLovePodcast.com Twitter: www.twitter.com/RiderLOVEcast Email: [email protected]

We're really getting into the meat of Kamen Rider Outsiders this week! The plot is taking shape, and they're becoming full dang episodes. There's the tiniest bit of news, but most importantly, we anticipate what Amber can snatch up from the Hello Kitty x Godzilla collab at McDonalds!   1:15 - Intro 24:45 - News 45:19 - Outsiders 2 1:10:22 - Outsiders 3   Website: www.RiderLovePodcast.com Twitter: www.twitter.com/RiderLOVEcast Email: [email protected]

Just a few short weeks until the premiere of Kamen Rider My-Th, so we're here to break down the cast & crew reveals from the press conference!
