Rangers Finish Winless in Cali, Fall Towards the Bottom of the NHL

The New York Rangers won the first game of their four-game road trip in Philadelphia, but lost the final three games in California to the Anaheim Ducks, Los Angeles Kings, and San Jose Sharks. The Rangers are now last in the Eastern Conference and 28th overall in the NHL standings.

The New York Rangers take on the Florida Panthers at Loan Depot Park in Miami, Florida, in the 2026 NHL Winter Classic. The Rangers have lost three straight and will be without J.T. Miller, Noah Laba, Conor Sheary, and Adam Edstrom. News also broke that Adam Fox, a top-five defenseman in all of hockey, was left off the USA Olympic roster.

The New York Rangers have lost four straight contests, as their road magic has faded. Without the road dominance, the Rangers have floundered to 10-11-2 and are well outside the playoff picture as we head into Thanksgiving week.

The New York Rangers defeated the Nashville Predators 6-3 at MSG on Monday for their first home win of the season. They followed that up with a road win over Tampa Bay 7-3 on Wednesday, as Vincent Trocheck's return and Gabe Perreault's addition have balanced out the forward lines.

They have been shut out in 5 of their 7 games, tying a franchise record for most times shut out at home in a single season, and it's only November 9th.
