Nick Luck is joined by Ruby Walsh, Lydia Hislop, Jane Mangan and Josh Stacey to preview the 2026/27 jump season. The panel debates whether Dan Skelton’s dominance means racing needs its own financial fair play, and Josh makes a big call on the Cheltenham Festival that the others aren’t having. They also discuss Gaelic Warrior and the horses who might challenge him, Harry Cobden’s new role with JP McManus, and where the next Rachael Blackmore is coming from. There’s a “name the winner” round, the horses the kids today don’t appreciate, and a quiz to find out how well Ruby knows his own Cheltenham Festival record. Learn more about your ad choices. Former champion apprentice Marco Ghiani joins Adam McNamara on Jockeys: The Podcast. He looks back on leaving Sardinia for England in the middle of winter in 2015, learning “racing English”, and the one jockey he still can’t understand. Marco explains why this is his best season yet and talks about his next target of 500 winners in England. He also wants to ride a real contender in the big Group races rather than the 100/1 shots. Plus, who lifts more in the gym, Marco or his personal trainer wife? And Adam reminds him of the day they fell out at Bath. #horseracing #JockeysThePodcast #MarcoGhiani Learn more about your ad choices. Visit podcastchoices.com/adchoices

Niall Hannity is joined by Jack Reddy and Martin Dixon to preview Sun Chariot day at Newmarket and Sunday's Group 1 Qatar Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe at Longchamp. The panel goes through all four World Pool races on Saturday, from the opening fillies' handicap and the £200,000 Tattersalls October Auction Stakes to the Group 1 Sun Chariot and the World Pool Handicap, before picking out their eyecatchers on the rest of the Newmarket card. They then take on a deep Arc field and finish with their best bets for the weekend. Learn more about your ad choices. Visit podcastchoices.com/adchoices

Dan Barber and Martin Dixon are joined by punter and tipster Dave Nevison, celebrating 50 years in racing, who has been to three Arcs and backed the winner every time. Dave goes back to leaving the City in 1993 to bet full time, life in the betting ring at its peak, and the code he still lives by: the bookmaker has to be right about every horse, he only has to be right about one. He also relives the Stewards' Cup photo he knew he'd lost and the Super Seven that slipped away ten yards from the line. To finish, there's a first catch-up with Kieren and Cieren Fallon, who look back on Kieren's two Arc wins and give their take on Sunday's big race. Learn more about your ad choices. Dan Barber and Martin Dixon look back at Irish Champions Festival before having a fascinating chat with James Willoughby. Martin makes the case for Sun Goddess as a 1000 Guineas favourite and explains why the number of two-year-old starts matters more than people think, with Darkness Falls and the National Stakes also covered. James then talks about his grandfather — a self-taught modeller of every sport who never went to school, and whose working-out he later found mirrored in statistical textbooks he'd cry over in Foyles.  He covers his years at Timeform and the Times, the influence of Mark Johnston, why he stepped away from broadcasting to focus on his son, and what he thinks betting is really for.
