Hood discussed Bears vs Eagles, in a wacky week 3 around the league, we saw a backup QB beat a contender in Washington where the Seahawks lost to the Commanders with Marcus Mariota... I think more is in store on Monday night, Are the Bears beating the Eagles behind Case Keenum at QB?  The bad news from the weekend at QB: Caleb suffered a Grade 2 hamstring strain and is expected to miss multiple weeks. The good news, all the people who called him out for being soft have to eat crow.

Hour 2: MLB Insider ESPN Jesse Rogers joined Kap & J. Hood with updates on the White Sox, Cubs and the latest MLB storylines.    Kap & J. Hood discussed the White Sox and the Cubs both won their games Thursday, securing a playoff berth for each of the Chicago teams. The White Sox clinched a playoff spot with a 9-1 rout of the Royals after back-to-back 100-loss seasons.

The White Sox began the day one game behind the Cleveland Guardians. Pete Crow-Armstrong joined the 40-40 club by stealing his 40th base to go along with his major league-leading 45 home runs, and the Chicago Cubs clinched their second straight postseason berth a 2-1 victory over the Miami Marlins on Thursday.

Hour 2: Former Chicago Bears Super Bowl Champion and Bears radio analyst Tom Thayer joined Kap & J. Hood with the latest updates on the Chicago Bears season. Kap & J. Hood discussed the Bears still are not ruling Caleb out for Monday, but Case Keenum was the QB who practiced and spoke. Ben Johnson really sung his praises at the podium. What chances do you give the Bears Monday with Keenum?  Practice windows open for both Shemar Turner and Noah Sewell, but not Kyler Gordon. I'm at a firm with zero games played for Kyler at this point.

Hour 1: Kap & J. Hood discussed the White Sox and Cubs both had a chance to clinch a postseason berth tonight, but the White Sox lost to the Royals after their pitching imploded early last night. Hudson only got one out as the opener, and the Sox never fully clawed back from a 4-0 early deficit. They will likely clinch this week, whether they do it themselves or Houston loses games, but it feels a bit like the magic has run out. The Cubs hopefully will get another walk-off win, but the good news there is that Philly lost, so at least they won't fall to the bottom, and hopefully the Dodgers can beat SD, so everyone keeps pace. Still, handle your own business and clinch!
