Hour 2: MLB Insider for ESPN Jesse Rogers joined Kap & J. Hood with updates on the White Sox, Cubs and the latest MLB storylines.   Kap & J. Hood discussed the Cubs magic number is 3 to secure a wildcard spot in the MLB Playoffs.  86-64 5 games behind the Brewers in the NL Central. 

Hour 1: Kap & J. Hood discussed the Bears still have an outside chance at being rescued this season. They're favored at home against Dallas and will likely be short underdogs in a winnable game in Vegas. Do you have any confidence the Bears will be 2-2 going into the bye?  Caleb Williams improved on Sunday relative to the MNF opener.  Are you willing to be more patient with Caleb when you see late bloomers across the league? What does that mean for patience with coaching/front office?  How much does Jaylon Johnson's injury factor into this, with it sounding like he's done for the year? Injuries are brutal. Seems unlikely Kyler Gordon will be ready for week 3.

The roster that he assembled over 3 years got it's ass handed to it in Ford Field.

What is it?  Is there any silver lining that you saw on Sunday against Detroit?  it's another Bears Monday.  It's referendum day for Ryan Poles. The roster that he assembled over 3 years got it's ass handed to it in Ford Field. .  Abysmal draft record, zero splashy free agents. What has he even done well? Anyone can tear a roster down.
