Hour 2: Chicago Blackhawks legend Eddie Olczyk joined Kap & J. Hood discussed the Preakness Stakes and gave his picks. Kap & J. Hood discussed the Crosstown Series between the White Sox and Cubs. Both coming of huge wins, both teams with WINNING records.  Which team needs this series win more?  Where have the Cubs bats gone? What is the bigger concern for the Cubs in chasing a World Series: bats, or pitching?

Hour 1: Kap & J. Hood discussed the NFL schedule is out, what are the win/losses for the Chicago Bears? The Bears have seven standalone games on their schedule, with a chance for eight if the finale against Minnesota were to get flexed... This is a huge sign that the league believes the Bears are going to be a massive ratings draw.

Hour 2: Former Chicago Bears Super Bowl Champion and Bears radio analyst Tom Thayer joined Kap & J. Hood with the latest updates on the Chicago Bears offseason. Kap & J. Hood discussed the NFL Schedule Release with a "Kapulation" version of the schedule. Does Kap get them right?

Hood discussed Cubs get another stellar performance from Shota, unfortunately the offense still isn’t there. probably feels good to see Nico hit in a clutch spot again after the last week, but 4 hits just won't cut it, especially when your pitching staff is banged up! The White Sox, what a team. .500 for the first time since the last day of the 2022 season, just in time for a date with the Cubs. Base running is better; Venable is managing his tail off, and EVERYONE is contributing.

Hour 1: Kap & J. Hood discussed Cubs drop a tough one yesterday in Atlanta, and the pitching woes were on display in what could be a playoff preview. The super-hot White Sox win 6-5, Will Venable knows this ball club.. Fedde was "unimpressive" but ate innings and forced Will to bump his pen up by an inning. Romo, Meidroth, and (checks notes) Derek Hill! Venable pushed the right buttons, and it became the Derek Hill game in the matter of one inning. This team is gritty!
