Hour 2: .  Kap & J Hood discussed Bill Barnwell, who wrote the success rate of NFL free agents at ESPN, and found that on average, free agent signings wind up closer to disappointing than they do average, meaning they did not live up to expectations. Only 15.6% of free agents exceeded expectations against their contracts from 2013-2022. Is it possible the Bears were right to not spend big?

Hour 1:  Kap & J. Hood discussed the Cubs were deep into extension talks with Crow-Armstrong and closing in on a deal, sources told MLB.com, including executive reporter Mark Feinsand. The terms and length of the deal were not immediately known, but the agreement will keep the center fielder locked in as part of the team’s core for the foreseeable future.

Are you comfortable that the Bears have apparently chosen the draft to fix their defensive line?

Hood reacting to the weekend that was in college basketball, with a second straight tournament dominated for the most part by the higher seeds, including a first: Friday marked the first day in tournament history that every single first round favorite held serve and won their game. Hour 1:  Kap & J. Hood discussed March Sadness, Upset Madness no. 12 High Point was the big surprise with its upset over No. 5 Wisconsin, securing the school's first NCAA Tournament win. And its hero was a player who made his first 2-point shot of the season.  Nebraska also got its first March Madness win in program history, snapping its distinction as the only Power conference team yet to win an NCAA Tournament game.
