Ep287 Pt2 (Our Chat) – Lent: Focusing on Our Thoughts

What priorities do you have in life? We all have priorities even if we haven’t specifically written them down. This week Emma and Rosemary chat about whether God, prayer and faith are priorities in our lives. Our lives are so busy and it can be hard to fit God in sometimes. This Lenten season is a great time to re-assess what we really value. 

Do you prioritise your faith? Do you struggle to fit prayer into your life? Lent is a wonderful time to look at how we prioritise our relationship with God. In this Heartbeat Emma helps us to reflect on where our faith sits on our priority list. 

How do you treat others? We are asked to live our neighbour as ourselves but sometimes our actions and behaviours don’t live up to that. This week Emma and Rosemary chat about allowing the Holy Spirit to show us the areas of our lives where we need to change our actions and behaviours.

Lent is an opportunity to prepare the way for God to come into our lives in a new way this Easter. Emma and Rosemary chat about an everyday approach to Lent where we make small daily changes little by little.

Lent is a time to prepare our hearts for Easter. It’s an opportunity to recognise those areas of our lives where we fall short and don’t live up to who God wants us to be.
