Analyzing the Programming | 2024 CrossFit Games Open

Just when you thought The Open and Quarterfinals couldn't matter MORE in our GWTP "Strength of Field System" here comes the great CrossFit Quarterfinals Purge and NEW semifinals "strength of field" system from CrossFit! We will run the numbers with the help of Known and Knowable's Mike Halpin and see what effect the video review system has had on our Top 100 and allocated CrossFit Games qualifying spots and finally compare head to head, our GWTP System vs. CrossFit's. Who's system is better? Watch and determine for yourself.

The "Fittest Gameshow on Earth" returns and we have a new returning champion. Keith Knapp looks to defend his title against two new challengers: "the all knowing" Ellie Miller and "The Batman" himself, Andrew Hiller.

The 2024 CrossFit Semifinal events for Age Group divisions have just dropped. Special guests J.R. Howell, Seth Page and John Young join the show as we give our first reactions and opinions on the programming.

In the wake of "The Leak" and then mass pivot of releasing the Individual events early the team events seem to have got lost in the shuffle! But the North Remembers.. and so do we. 3 time CrossFit Games "Affiliate Cup" Champion, Adrian Conway, joins the show to break down ALL the events for the 2024 CrossFit Semifinals.

Can you qualify the RIGHT 40 athletes to Semifinals in just 4 events? That was the question the CrossFit community had about the programming going into this Quarterfinals. Chase and Bill break down the programming and determine if it accomplished the goal of being accessible to the Top 25% from The Open yet filtering the fittest 40 men and women to Semifinals.

Is anyone surprised? We are not. Chase and Bill sit down to discuss all the online video drama and why this is no shock to them what so ever that this is all happening the way it is.

This week, John Young attempts to defend his title from the previous show against owner of CrossFit Fairfield, Keith Knapp and the ORIGINAL stats supreme being known at Chad Schroeder. These three contestants will be battle it out for supreme CrossFit knowledge and dominance across 5 'varied' categories. So get your thinking caps on, turn your phones off, put your L1 manual away and get a pen and paper out, it's time to play... CrossFit Jeopardy!

It's finally here... the end of the GWTP qualifying stage to determine the FINAL Strength of Field for Semifinals and what semifinals are getting the extra CrossFit Games qualifying spots.

We have reached the end of the first submission window for the 2024 Individual Quarterfinals.  We take a look at the new GWTP Strength of Field as it stands with the Open and half of the Individual events submitted to see what is on the line for the final change for semifinals to earn extra CrossFit Games Qualifying spots. We then look at "Who's in? Who's out?" for the Top 40 in each of the 7 semifinal regions for both men and women. Finally we review what events are left to complete and make predictions on what athletes and regions are best suited to make a move.
