The Mets Bounce Back Against the Nationals

After a sweep in Wrigley Field at the hands of the Cubs, the New York Mets returned home for a weekend series against the Washington Nationals.

Jacob deGrom Jacob deGrom'd his way to a 2-hit shutout on Friday night. The Mets defense proved to be the issue on Saturday. Then the bats recovered and led the team to victory on Sunday, completing a series victory.
