Texas State Rep. Erin Zwiener, co-chair of the Texas Energy and Climate Caucus, shared that Texans are largely aligned on solar, wind and nuclear energy because their average energy costs are more than 30 percent less than the national average.

Texas may have a reputation for being an oil and gas state, but it is also first nationally in utility-scale solar and first in wind energy. The Evangelical Environmental Network's Dr. Rev. Jessica Moerman on their work regarding data centers and how their impact on local communities.

Led by Dr. Rev. Jessica Moerman, The Evangelical Environmental Network has been connecting with communities on the topic of data centers. EEN is working to ensure that the build-out of these energy and water-thirsty structures are done in a way that is thoughtful of the electricity costs on neighbors and takes into consideration the climate change impacts from the associated increase in emissions from these centers. She is also recently featured in the film The [Conserv]atives, which premiered at the DC Environmental Film Festival on March 23.
