Drinking cloves in coffee is one of the easiest ways to get the health benefits of cloves. Not only does it intensify the flavor of your coffee, but it can also provide significant health benefits.

Eugenol from cloves typically supports the upper portion of the digestive tract because the vast majority of this compound doesn’t make it past the liver. It can be beneficial against H. pylori because it survives stomach acid.

Research has shown that cloves have the following benefits:

• Reduces dental pain

• Has antimicrobial properties

• Supports liver health

• Has anti-inflammatory properties

• Has antifungal properties

• Fights ulcers

Coffee has its own benefits and supports healthy blood glucose levels.

When it comes to cloves, less is more. Around 1 to 3 cloves in your coffee is sufficient. To make clove coffee:

1. Crush 1 clove.

2. Add it to your coffee and wait 2 minutes.

3. Drink!
