NBA Western Conference 2024-25 Season Preview

In this episode, I react to the New York Jets firing Robert Saleh and my reaction to the NBA annual GM survey for the 2024-25 season. I also talk about Dodgers-Padres baseball at the end as the Dodgers advance to the NLCS to play the New York Mets.

Capstraw has announced on the radio for the Nets for over 20+ seasons, including a streak of 1,900 consecutive games. We talk about his coaching career at Wagner, watching Jason Kidd play, being a broadcaster for the 2012 London Olympics for Men's Basketball, and more. We discuss her record-breaking high school and collegiate accomplishments at the DI level, her career and upbringing, and how she got to where she is today. Jolie has accomplished so much already at such a young age. She graduated from SUNY Oswego this past May, where she was a News Anchor, Sports Anchor, News Producer, VP of Finance, and much more for ​⁠​⁠​⁠​⁠​⁠⁠ @WTOP10TV. ⁠ She also was the captain of the RCC volleyball team, helping lead it to its first-ever NJCAA (National Junior College Athletic Association) Division III volleyball national championship appearance. Here are some of her accomplishments: ⁃ Created RCC’s TikTok Page ⁃ Captain of the RCC Women’s Volleyball team ⁃ Lead RCC to its first Division III Volleyball National Championship Appearance. Here are her stats from that season: ⁃ 109 kills (including an astounding 16 in a single-game victory at Westchester Community College Sep 14.) ⁃ 1.27 kills per set ⁃ 322 attacks with a .214 hitting percentage ⁃ 18 service aces ⁃ 93 receptions ⁃ 91 digs with 1.06 digs per set ⁃ 23 block solos and 31 block assists for 54 blocks total ⁃ Accounted for 165.5 Points in the season in 1.9 points per set and started in all 24 matches ⁃ Formulated the first-ever all women’s broadcast in Oswego History in February 2024 ⁃ VP of Finance, Reporter, Producer, Engineer, Executive Producer, News/Sports Broadcaster & Anchor for WTOP-TV 10 ⁃ Selected on NBC’s Today Show for Successful 2024 Graduates ⁃ WNYT News Producer for News Channel 13
