That night, Christi and her husband, Mark, took their two young children out for dinner and photos with Santa. Afterward, they brought the kids home then went to the bar where Christi worked. It was the last time anyone ever saw her. The next morning, Christi was gone, but her car and all of her belongings were still at home. Blood was later found inside the house and in Mark’s car, yet he insisted she left on her own. More than three decades have passed, and Christi has never been found. But her family is still searching, waiting for the answers that will finally bring her home. *On the night of December 10, 1987, 22-year-old Christi Jo Nichols went out with her husband, Mark. By the next morning, she was gone. Her car and belongings were left behind, and blood was later found in their home and in Mark’s car. Christi’s body has never been found, and Mark Nichols remains the only suspect. She stopped for gas on her way home, then spent the afternoon grading papers in the apartment she shared with her fiancé, Sam. That evening, Sam called 911 to report that he had found Ellen in the kitchen with a knife in her chest. She had been stabbed twenty times, including multiple wounds to the back of her head and neck. At first, the Medical Examiner ruled her death a homicide. But weeks later, the ruling was changed to suicide, shocking many. At around 3:45 a.m. on October 4, 2011, Jeremy Irwin came home from a late-night electrical job to find the front door unlocked and the lights still on inside his Kansas City home. As he walked through the house, turning off lights and checking on his children, he made a chilling discovery - his nearly eleven-month-old daughter, Lisa, was gone. Lisa had been last seen the night before, at around 6:40 p.m., when her mother, Deborah Bradley, said she put her to bed in her crib. Within those nine hours, Lisa vanished without a trace. On September 23, 1998, 19-year-old Amber Wilde, a college student who was four and a half months pregnant, called her father after getting into a minor car accident near the University of Wisconsin at Green Bay.  Later that evening, she spoke to him one last time from her apartment landline, but the next day she never showed up for class or a doctor’s appointment. A week later, her car was found abandoned near Lambeau Field, with her keys inside and her purse locked in the trunk. But Amber was nowhere to be found. At 11:00 a.m. on November 6, 2001, a customer arrived at the Hair Gallery salon in Florence, Montana, for her appointment with owner Dorothy Harris. As she walked up, she noticed a man in a dark suit and a hat - described as either a fedora or a stovepipe - in front of the salon. She didn’t think much of it until she stepped inside and discovered a horrific scene. Dorothy, her employee Brenda Patch, and their customer Cynthia Paulus had all been brutally murdered. When investigators heard about the man in the hat, they believed he was likely the killer. But despite multiple sketches and an intensive search, he has never been identified. More than 20 years later, the murders of Dorothy, Brenda, and Cynthia remain unsolved, and investigators are still searching for the person, or people, responsible. On July 22, 2001, 28-year-old Niqui McCown went to do laundry in Richmond, Indiana, just weeks before her wedding day. After finishing her laundry, she planned to go home and work on wedding invitations, but she never made it back. The next morning, her fiancé reported her missing. For months there was no trace of her, until November, when her SUV was found abandoned in Dayton, Ohio, with her clean laundry still folded inside. But Niqui was nowhere to be found. On the morning of May 13, 2011, 6-year-old Timmothy Pitzen was seen checking out of the Kalahari Resort in Wisconsin Dells with his mother, Amy. But he was never seen with her again. The next day, Amy was found dead in a motel in Rockford, Illinois. She left behind notes saying Tim was safe and would be cared for, but that no one would ever find him. Fourteen years later, Tim’s whereabouts remain unknown, and his family is still searching, hoping to bring him home. 6-year-old Timmothy Pitzen was last seen on the morning of May 13, 2011, checking out of the Kalahari Resort in Wisconsin Dells with his mother, Amy. Later that afternoon, Amy made phone calls to her family, and Tim spoke to his uncle. That was the last time anyone confirmed he was with her. The next day, Amy was found dead in a motel in Rockford, Illinois. In her final notes, she said Tim was safe and would be cared for, but that no one would ever find him. To this day, Tim has never been located. At the time he disappeared, he was 6 years old, 4-foot-2, about 70 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing green or blue shorts, a brown t-shirt, white socks, and carrying a Spider-Man backpack. On October 2, 1993, 37-year-old Dana MacKay and 49-year-old Mary Huffman were found murdered inside their Las Vegas home. The couple had been shot at close range, likely just after returning home from grocery shopping. The only thing missing from the house was a manila folder filled with important documents.  The Vegas community was shocked by the double homicide. The couple was well-known around town: Dana was America’s first Elvis impersonator, and Mary had once been crowned Mrs. Nevada. It was hard to believe they’d been murdered in their home, known as Mini Graceland. But despite the initial attention their case received, it quickly went cold. More than thirty years later, their murders are still unsolved and the question remains: who killed Dana and Mary? 37-year-old Dana MacKay and 49-year-old Mary Huffman were found murdered inside their Las Vegas home, known as Mini Graceland, on October 2, 1993. They had been shot several times at close range, likely just after returning home from grocery shopping on September 30. While one room appeared ransacked, cash and jewelry were left behind.
