On August 8, a body believed to be 18-year-old Giovanni Pelletier was found in a Florida retention pond near where he had recently gone missing. Giovanni disappeared after sending his mother a text reading “Mom, help” during a visit with relatives. The remains showed no signs of foul play, though official identification and cause of death aren't yet known.
