Comic Reviews: Acid Nun, Comet Club, Film Nerds, The He-Man Effect: How American Toymakers Sold You Your Childhood, Momo, Until We Meet Again, Zorn's Lemma TV/FILM Reviews: Dang!, LEGO One Piece, LEGO Star Wars: The Mandalorian, Stranger Things: Tales From '85 s2, Stuart Fails to Save the Universe season finale, Hope Jimmy is once again way behind on reviewing things. So he packs it in with comics and TV/film doing some quick fire reviews. (Some quicker than others). Did you read/watch any of them? What did you think?

As a proud Filipino, Jimmy decided to do a special on the new animated film FORGOTTEN ISLAND from Dreamworks. It's a love letter to Filipinos all over. Set in The Philippines w/ Filipino characters, mythological creatures, food, family, jeepneys, lechon and more. The creatives and cast are also predominantly Filipino. Yet still enjoyable to all! Jimmy saw it twice and shares his thoughts on it. After his second viewing, he and his Filipina pal Melanie discussed the film as well. He also asked other Filipino friends to send in their thoughts. Thanks to Edward, Kasey and Reggie. Reggie was also part of the ADR group who did background voices in the film. GO CELEBRATE FILIPINO AMERICAN HISTORY MONTH AND SEE THIS FILM!

Jimmy had the absolute honor to interview the legendary John Cusack! Cusack wrote a fantastic new graphic novel called MOMO. Set in 1972, it's a wild road-trip full of satire, criminals, conspiracies, aliens, the supernatural, a French silent film star, Howard Johnson's, explosions, laudanum, Jackie Gleason and more! Yeah, wild! Jimmy and John talk about the book, some of the real life characters, how true the story is, his chemistry w/ the book's artist Ignacio Noe, growing up as a Gen Xer, a silly fan interaction, how he feels about that Peter Gabriel song, his next graphic novel w/ Noe and beyond. Jimmy also pitches a genius idea for a GROSSE POINT BLANK sequel. An utterly delightful and fun chat! Many thanks again to Cusack for taking the time.
