What if your prospect asks for references before they buy? 

 

There’s a need to identify whether the reason they’re asking for references is that they’re serious about changing their situation or if it’s just their way of pushing you away. 

 

So instead of simply agreeing to their request, start probing by asking the right questions. With the right qualifying questions, you’ll be able to figure out whether they truly have a plan to follow through with you.

    How to Get Our Prospects to Open Up

    The first ten seconds of the sales conversation is crucial.    Today’s sales prospects will shun you away the moment they feel you’re too pushy, clingy, and that all you care about is making the sale.    So what do you need to do for them to engage in the sales conversation and make them open up to you?    You need to learn the right questions to ask and also know when and how to ask them. This is how you remove the pressure out of the sales conversation.    Start treating your sales prospects as what they truly are - human beings. Don’t argue with them nor insist about why your product is number one in the market.
