Did you know Stonehenge is actually a youngster compared to some ancient buildings? For example, the Great Pyramid of Giza in Egypt is over 4,500 years old, making it much older than Stonehenge. There's also the Göbekli Tepe in Turkey, which dates back around 11,000 years and is considered the world's oldest known temple. Even older is the Cairn of Barnenez in France, a massive stone structure that's about 7,000 years old. It's pretty mind-blowing to think that these ancient structures have been around for so long, standing the test of time even more impressively than Stonehenge! Learn more about your ad choices.
