According to local lore, the doctor began operating on the girl's appendix before the anesthesia took effect, and she died on his operating table from blood loss. While we acknowledge there's no concrete historical evidence this event actually occurred, we explore why this story has persisted and discuss other tragic deaths that took place in and around the property, including a disturbing incident involving the woman next door and her young son. The episode takes a personal turn as we share our own experiences from investigating the house for two hours the day before this live recording. We discuss what happened when our group used the Estes Method and spirit box equipment during our investigation, including multiple people hearing the same disturbing growl, our skeptical friend Parker getting mysteriously scratched, and the eerie responses we received when asking questions about what lurks in the attic and basement.
