Ducecap

I have a new album out.  woods executive produced it. so we sat and talked about it.  you should REALLY go check it out — vinyl and CD and digital available via Backwoodz Studioz - CLICK HERE - its streaming everywhere as well.  thanks for listening.

On a random day in September, I tweeted out asking for people to send me their music. Originally I was going to offer technical critiques. But I got too many songs to do that.  Instead, I checked them all out and played them on my podcast, saying a few words about each, for other people to hear. Much love to all the people who submitted music. Hey, thank you for listening. in this episode I chat with Armand Hammer – the rap group of E L U C I D (https://elucid.bandcamp.com/) and billy woods (https://billywoods.bandcamp.com/) 2 months ago they released their latest album SHRINES (https://armandhammer.bandcamp.com/album/shrines)  – an incredible album produced by and featuring several long time and new collaborators. I was able to engineer a bunch of woods vocals and I got to produce a track as well. We recorded this show in 2 parts, one a week before the album dropped, and one a week after it dropped. Check out the link to shrines and their solo work in the episode description along with donation links to important donation sites for Black Lives Matter and bail reform organizations etc. thank you. Hey, thank you for listening. This is another episode I recorded quite a while ago. Like - a long time. After COVID but still before protests started. I'm excited to put it out there now - the guest is ShrapKnel (https://shrapknel.bandcamp.com/)   ShrapKnel is a rap duo by Premrock  ( https://planetpremrock.bandcamp.com/ ) and Curly Castro ( https://curlycastro.bandcamp.com/ ) Two artists and friends I've known for several years now – they’ve both had incredible solo careers, been involved in many collaborative projects before- and formed ShrapKnel in 2019 – dropped an EP and then a full-length album on the Backwoodz Studios label, both amazing and was received incredibly well. Then in May of this year, they put out flechette – an album with remixes and a little new material. Please enjoy and visit the links for Prem and Castro, support these incredible people and artists.    Here is a link leading to several links of places for donations: https://biglink.to/blmdonations | Here is a link that will lead you right to donate, but will split your donation up evenly among several organizations: https://secure.actblue.com/donate/bail_funds_george_floyd | Black Lives Matter.

This episode I chat with Tone Tank over the phone. Recorded back on May 27th. Tone is an absolute living legend. As we talked about in the show toward the end, he's offered up some of his time for people who may need assistance with errands during Covid. The two previous links you see here have his contact information. This one is full of stories about Tone's current acting career, check out films he's been in that are already released and some of the upcoming ones on his IMDB page. And you can check out his music over on his Bandcamp page.  Tone Tank website/contact info: https://www.tonetank.nyc/ Tone Tank music: https://tonetank.bandcamp.com/ Tone Tank IMDB: https://www.imdb.com/name/nm5112442/ Here is a link leading to several links of places for donations: https://biglink.to/blmdonations | Here is a link that will lead you right to donate, but will split your donation up evenly among several organizations: https://secure.actblue.com/donate/bail_funds_george_floyd | Black Lives Matter.

Hey, thank you for listening. This episode is with Asterios Kokkinos, it was recorded a while ago before the protesting started. I didn’t know whether to scrap it or just post it quietly, but I have a few other episodes I recorded before the protests started as well, and I want to release them all. If listening to podcasts gives you a respite as it does me, please enjoy – Asterios is an incredibly genuine and funny dude who puts out great content. We talk about his podcast The Loudest Podcast, weight loss, him wrestling a friend of mine in the street in college, and a bunch more.  I hope you fully support these protests and fully support Black Lives Matter. If you don’t, don’t listen, I don’t really fuck with you. I truly hope for the abolishment or at least defunding of police forces across the country. Police forces are completely non-essential and their unimpeded murdering of black people with impunity is despicable. If you're a white person listening to this please speak about this wherever you can, and if you have disposable income, send it to some of the Black Lives Matter organizations and bail funds in the episode description. Continue to support the protests. Black Lives Matter.
