Day 286 of the Holy Bible One Year CHALLENGE. Jeremiah tells the people that they're going to be under Babylon's rule for a while and should just accept it. He even wears a yoke to make his point. False prophets say the opposite, but Jeremiah warns not to listen to them. He writes a letter to the exiles in Babylon, saying they'll return home after 70 years, so in the meantime, they should settle in and pray for the city they're in.
