    55: Episode 055 - Daphne Caruana Galizia

    1:12:15

Everyone over the last few years has fallen in love with Adrian Dunbar’s character Ted Hastings in Line of Duty and his tenacity for chasing “bent coppers” The lady that I will be talking about in this episode showed the same commitment when trying to uncover corruption, and that made some people uncomfortable, to the extent that it was the reason that she lost her life. Daphne Caruana Galizia single handedly tried to unearth the corrupt underbelly of the Mediterranean island of Malta. The issue is that there are always groups who want to push it too far.  Part 1 of this case looks at March 2015, when a couple of cruise liners made a stop in La Goulette in Tunis and a bus full of tourists headed for the Bardo museum.

    52: Episode 052 - Marie Trintignat

    51:15

Please bear with me as I am a bit rusty!! Marie had the world at her feet, she was an established French actress, the mother to four amazingly talented children, and was happy living a bohemian lifestyle. She thought that she had found happiness in a new relationship, but as is often the way things turned sour very quickly. This is a case where it is questionable, did the punishment fit the crime.
