We are here for another House Theory Thursday, our segment where we compare golf courses in a match play format. Hole 1 vs Hole 1, Hole vs Hole 2, and so on and so forth. Our idea of House Theory is to describe each hole based on its merits as the hole it is. Like a great house, every piece of a golf hole needs to match up. The green size, difficulty, length, surroundings, it all needs to fit. So, while it can be hard to compare a par 3 to a par 5, we can do it more successfully deciding which hole works better in and of itself.
