On this week’s ship.energy podcast, Mark Williams talks to Sandi Ennor, President and CEO of Transparensea Fuels, LLC. The conversation covers upcoming CII and EEXI regulations, demand for new shipping fuels, the energy landscape and climate policies in the US and, in the light of Sandi’s choice of name for her company, the rate of progress on achieving transparency in the shipping and bunker industries


Sandi established Transparensea Fuels as an independent global marine fuels brokerage in June 2017 following 10 years working in bunker trading and broking at LQM, Integr8 and Peninsula. She is a 1998 graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy. 
Prior to entering into bunkering, she served for over nine years as a U.S. Navy combat helicopter pilot and is a decorated combat veteran for her work during Operation Iraqi Freedom.

Sandi is currently serving as the Vice President of the Connecticut Maritime Association and is an active WISTA and IBIA member.
