But do these sentences run consecutively or concurrently? If it's the later, he could be out in only - you guessed it - 10 years. A berzerk neighbor blasts 2 residents of his building because one of them has a dog that barks too much.  The suspected killer had previously kicked in the door of the terrified pet owner with a hammer in his hand, breaking her arm in that incident. But the maniac was released on $5,000 bail with an order of protection saying he couldn't go near the woman.
